From Luxury to the more Affordable: These Projects add to Charlotte’s Tight Condo Pipeline

A few miles away, in Charlotte’s Eastover neighborhood, a luxury condo development continues to take shape. Construction at The Regent at Eastover topped out in late March, with interior framing work beginning about a month prior to that. A dozen of the 32 total condos have gone under contract, including six of nine penthouse units, said Michael Hoyt, senior vice president with developer The Lutgert Cos., in an email. He said that, of those pending sales, many are from residents who live nearby. Premier Sotheby’s International Realty, a division of Florida-based Lutgert, is handling sales there. Units in that six-story building at 130 Cherokee Road are currently priced between roughly $1.7 million and $3.5 million. That includes three- and four-bedroom floor plans from 2,400 to 4,558 square feet, with high-end features such as gourmet kitchens, 10-foot ceilings, and private terraces. Amenities include a fitness center, club room, storage units on each level, common areas, private parking, and a large rooftop terrace. The development is slated for completion in the second quarter of 2023.
